Enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1936 and was admitted to the United States Military Academy at West Point in July 1939. Graduated in January 1943. 1st Lieutenant Reynolds, flew 30 missions in the B-26 Marauder. Shot down, four of his crew escaped by bailing out, but he rode his ship to the ground and was killed. Recipient of the Air Medal with four oak leaf clusters the the Purple Heart.
